Indirect organogenesis of Aceh patchouli leaf explants (Pogostemon cablin Benth) by in vitro

Abstract The Aceh patchouli plant ( Pogostemon cablin . Benth) is a plantation that produces essential oils with great potential, known as oil. use of in vitro culture techniques on plants needs to be developed meet the seeds. This study aimed analyze effect growth regulators (PGRs) cytokinins 6-Benzyl Amino Purine (BAP) and Thidiazuron (TDZ) auxin 1-Naphthaleneacetic Acid (NAA) organogenesis ability leaf explants var. Lhokseumawe. treatments analyzed were P1 = MS; P2 BAP 0.75 mg.l −1 , P3 1.0 P4 TDZ P5 P6 NAA 0.5 P7 P8 + P9 P10 P11 P12 P13 mg. l P14 P15 mg.l-1. percentage callus induction observed, shoot induction, browning, contamination live at 28 DAI. results showed forming was 56.4%, organ 54.6%. In these two parameters treatment gave best 6.6% respectively. experiencing browning 26.1%, highest response for this parameter, namely 6.6%. parameter 71.3%. found P2, P3, P15, which each. fastest bud formation occurred 14 Days After Initiation (DAI) treatment. resulting shoots look quite vigor have formed leaves. combination P14, results, addition able increase initiation embryogenic callus.
